BookTube-A-Thon 2016 TBR!

btb01

This is my third BookTubeAThon, but considering that I completely failed last year’s (reading slumps be damned!), it’s probably my second. I absolutely adore this readathon – it was my first readathon ever, so I guess I’m allowed to be sentimental.

Anyways! The challenges are as follows:

1/ Read a book with yellow on the cover : The Casual Vacancy. At first it was in my ‘maybe’ pile, but I decided to read a couple of pages just to get the gist of it, and it’s actually pretty good. Also, my second pick for this challenge is Watchmen, but it’s pretty much my fail-safe read for a bunch of challenges lol.
2/ Read a book only after sunset : I almost always read at night, so I didn’t pick a specific book for this.
3/ Read a book you discovered through booktube : A Monster Calls. I watched the trailer for the movie yesterday and bawled, also I ordered this book on BookDepositery in early March and it has only just arrived, and I’ve been dying to read it for months, so it’s an all-around win.
4/ Read a book by one of your favourite authors : Dragons at Crumbling Castle. Terry Pratchett is my favourite author, but it always takes me at least two full days to finish a Discworld novel, so I decided to go with a children’s book.
5/ Read a book that is older than you : Watchmen. It was published during 1986-1987, and I was born in 1994, so, yeah.
6/ Read and watch a book-to-movie adaptation : Stardust. Yes, I have never seen this movie, whoops. Again, if something goes wrong, this is where Watchmen steps in.
7/ Read seven books : Deadpool Killogy, because it’s three volumes and I really need to read them. Also, I’ve been reading comic books non-stop since May and barely read any novels, and reading six novels (although Watchmen is over 450 pages and has a lot of written passages, so really, seven) within a week seems kind of impossible.
